Senior Product Designer — Toronto, ON, Canada.
I design credit and lending software — loan origination, risk grading, portfolio monitoring, covenant workflows — for banks and financial institutions, currently at Moody's. Over the last few years AI has become part of how I do that work day to day: faster prototyping, faster iteration, and more room to actually test ideas before committing engineering time to them. The case studies on this site go deep on specific projects; this page is the career shape around them.
Leading design for two flagship AI initiatives — an early-warning risk agent and an LOS-agnostic credit memo tool — plus a unified PD/LGD rating flow, the CreditLens Covenants module, and new and in-flight features for Automated Spreading — a project I took over from a departing designer.
Redesigned QUIQspread, an OCR-based financial spreading tool, and designed Moody's first mobile-first SaaS product for agricultural lenders.
Led design for Capital Risk Analyzer and the earlier generation of the Early Warning System. Built client-facing prototypes across the US, Europe, Asia, and the UAE that closed deals before development began.
On-site at Scotiabank leading design for RiskOrigins, Moody's commercial loan origination platform, working directly with client stakeholders and end users.
Redesigned CIBC Online Banking and CIBC.com's application forms — work that helped CIBC rank first among Canada's big five banks in online banking functionality.
Designed and coded weekly promotional and V.I.B. email programs.
Email and UI design for Aeroplan, Air Canada, Holt Renfrew, The Bay, Shoppers Drug Mart, and Sobeys.
Computer Science, specializing in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI).
